Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association ( MYBA)

The Charter rate includes the hire of the vessel, crew wages & crew food and ship’s laundry.

Additional expenses for guest food & beverages, fuel, dockage, port fees, communication costs, and local taxes are not included in the charter fee.

The standard terms in America are similar to MYBA. The charter rate includes the hire of the vessel and crew wages. Additional expenses for guest food & beverages, crew food, fuel, dockage, port fees, communications costs and local taxes are not included in the charter fee.

Greek Terms (GT)

The charter rate includes the hire and insurance of the vessel, fuel, crew wages and harbour and marina fees in Greek waters (except Corinthian Canal transit). Some Greek yachts offer 2 meals per day. The charterer pays additional expenses for guest food and beverages, communications costs and local taxes.

Caribbean Terms (CT)

The charter rates includes the hire of the vessel,3-4 hours of cruising fuel per day, crew wages and food, guest food and bar. Additional expenses to be paid by the charterer include dockage, port fees, communications usage, and local taxes. Charters in southern Caribbean water usually do not include alcoholic beverages or soft drinks.

Conditions

1. Taxes : Charter rates will be subject to varying rates of VAT within European Community (EC) waters. VAT is not included in the charter rates on this price list. Local taxes may also occur in certain places outside the EC. Commercially registered yachts are usually tax exempt. Please ask your broker for the most up to date information for your cruising area and yacht.
2. Fuel : Charterers should note that only certain flag vessels qualify for duty free fuel. This differs from country to country.
3. Agency fees : All charter rates are inclusive of agency fees.
4. Price Guide: Rates for special events might differ. Please consult your broker for full information.
5. Charter Rates: A number of rates shown are preliminary estimates at time and subject to change.
6. Charter Agreement: All charters booked will be confirmed by a charter agreement, signed by the charter and the yacht owner or their representative.
